St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations and Events

Get ready for everything green—and don’t forget to wear it, too!—because it is almost time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Traditionally an Irish celebration in honor of its patron saint, this day has become synonymous with “having a good time” with friends and family. Regardless of your ancestral roots, we can all become Irish for a day (on March 17th, that is). Here are some fun St. Patrick’s Day events not far from Lone Tree. They will give a whole new meaning to “going green.”

  • The Lone Tree Grill is hosting a delicious St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Sunday, March 17th. Located in the heart of beautiful Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel, the restaurant will offer an Irish menu, special cocktails, and—of course!—green beer. Enjoy the music of Jeff Johnson and Company while you treat yourself.
  • Nothing says Happy St. Patty’s Day like a good parade followed by all kinds of good eats. The Denver parade will take place on Saturday (March 16th), kicking off a whole day of fun starting at 9:30 a.m. While you’re downtown, stop by a pub and grab a pint. Restaurants will be offering all kinds of fun specials for the day, like the following: Scruffy Murphy’s (see their Irish Fest Facebook site here), some Viewhouse Ballpark shenanigans, and all the sidewalk cafe and bar offerings available as you stroll the downtown streets.
  • Enjoy an active outing and join the Lucky Laces 5K/10K Run/Walk at City Park! This fun and family-friendly event begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th. Wear your brightest green running gear and contend for exciting awards — including prizes for the Little Leprechaun Fun Runners!

Whether you enjoy your corned beef and cabbage at home or in a pub, we hope you enjoy the day. And better yet, we hope you partake in the kind spirit of the Irish. Slainte, friends! To your good health!

Heritage Hills residents know all about kind spirits. Their community motto says all there is to say about the neighborly vibe: Let’s hear it for fun! This positive spirit starts at home, and we are committed to providing the very best custom homes around.
