Summer Fun in South Denver

The south Denver area is bustling with activity this summer. This is the time of year where there is a festival for everyone from small-town events to big-city bashes. Below is a list of some of our favorites:

July 1-3: Cherry Creek Arts Festival in the Cherry Creek North shopping district
July 4th: Annual Lone Tree resident Independence Day Celebration in Sweetwater Park beginning at 4pm
July 4th: Stars and Stripes Celebration at Salisbury Park in Downtown Parker beginning at 6pm
July 15th: Castle Rock Wine Fest at Butterfield Park beginning at 2pm
July 29th: Boots & Brews Festival in front of the Douglas County building in downtown Castle Rock beginning at 11am
August 3-6: Douglas County Fair and Rodeo at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock
August 6: Parker Honey Festival in O’Brien Park in downtown Parker beginning at 9am
September 9-10: Colorado Art Fest in Downtown Castle Rock
